Tiger Hill

Tiger Hill (2,590 m) is located in Darjeeling, in the Indian State of West Bengal, and is the summit of Ghoom, the highest railway station in the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has a panoramic view of Mount Everest and Mt. Kangchenjunga together. This is the place where you should start your tour. Witnessing the sun-sire over the Himalaya from Tiger Hill is a moment of a lifetime. It is 11 km from the town of Darjeeling and can be reached either by jeep or by foot through Chowrasta, Alubari or Jorebangla and then climbing up the incline to the summit.
At sunrise, the peaks of Kangchenjunga are illuminated before the sun is seen at lower elevations.

Darjeeling Toy Train

The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, also known as the "Toy Train", is a 2 ft(610 mm) narrow gauge railway that runs between New Jalpaiguri and Darjeeling in the Indian state of West Bengal, India. Built between 1879 and 1881, the railway is about 78 kilometres (48 mi) long. Its elevation level varies from about 100 metres (328 ft) at New Jalpaiguri to about 2,200 metres (7,218 ft) at Darjeeling. This the mother of all, a must ride for everybody and its a ride of a lifetime.This fascinating narrow gauge steam engine train is really an engineering achievement. If you don’t want to pay much time riding on it then you have the option to the sort ride from Darjeeling town to Ghoom. Himalayan Zoological Park and Snow Leopard Breeding Center

Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (also called the Darjeeling Zoo) is a 67.56-acre (27.3 ha) zoo in the town of Darjeeling in the Indian state of West Bengal. The zoo was opened in 1958, and an average elevation of 7,000 feet (2,134 m), is the largest high altitude zoo in India. It specializes in breeding animals adapted to alpine conditions, and has successful captive breeding programs for the snow leopard, the critically endangered Himalayan wolf and the red panda. The zoo attracts about 300,000 visitors every year. The park is named after Padmaja Naidu (1900–1975), daughter of Sarojini Naidu. The zoo serves as the central hub for Central Zoo Authority of India's red panda program and is a member of the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums.



Batasia Loop

The Batasia Loop is a spiral railway created to lower the gradient of ascent of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway in Darjeeling district of West Bengal, India. At this point, the track spirals around over itself through a tunnel and over a hilltop. It was commissioned in 1919.

It is 5 km from Darjeeling, below Ghum. There is also a memorial to the Gorkha soldiers of the Indian Army who sacrificed their lives after the Indian Independence in 1947 .
Darjeeling Ropeway

The Darjeeling Ropeway is a ropeway in the town of Darjeeling in the Indian state of West Bengal. The ropeway used to be a popular tourist destination in the town. It consisted of sixteen cars and plied between the "North Point" in the town of Darjeeling and Singla on the banks of the Ramman river. The journey on the ropeway offered beautiful views of the hills and the valleys around Darjeeling.It covers about 8 kilo miters(5 miles) in 45 minutes. You will find dense forests, mountain ridges, flowing rivers, water falls, green valleys and tea gardens under you during this journey. It will give you a memorable journey for sure.
Lloyd`s Botanical Garden

This garden was founded in 1878 and named after William Lloyd. This garden is famous for its collection of different types of Orchids. This garden offers a protected habitat for many species of Himalayan trees and plants. It also has a glass-house full of alpine flowers and also features an Orchidarium and a collection of medicinal plants.
Happy Valley Tea Estate

Happy Valley Tea Estate is a tea garden in Darjeeling district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Established in 1854, it is Darjeeling's 2nd oldest tea estate. Spread over 437-acre, it is situated at a height of 6,800 ft. (2,100 m) above sea level, 3 km north of Darjeeling, and employs more than 1500 people. Tea gardens will be a pleasure for your eyes especially for those who live in cities. Darjeeling Tea is known as the best tea in the world, and here you will get a chance to see the manufacturing process. You can even buy tea packets from this gardens (every garden doesn't sell). People inside the gardens are known for their hospitality.
Monasteries in Darjeeling

There are several famous monasteries like Ghoom Monastery, Bhutia Busty Monastery, Mag-Dhog Yolmowa Buddhist Monastery, Dali Monastery in Darjeeling to visit.
